Eleftheriades Library

In recognition of the importance of independent inquiry and learning, as part of the academic program, Anatolia College has provided a library for the use of its students, faculty and staff members, since its founding in 1924. In fact, the current library still maintains a special collection of monographs brought from Asia Minor when the school moved to Thessaloniki.

The current library, named for its benefactors, Socrates Eleftheriades and Olga Mavrophidou-Eleftheriades, opened in 1989 replacing the library which had been housed in the Kirides Science Building.

Students, faculty, staff and alumni of Anatolia, are the primary patrons of this library which has as its purpose the provision of materials, equipment, and training for its students, faculty and staff to enable them to satisfy their academic and personal informational and recreational reading needs. Members of the general public are welcome to use the library.

The Anatolia College Library shares an integrated library management system with the Bissell library of the American College of Thessaloniki. Access to both collections is available through the web-based Horizon Information Portal.
